Everybody I know hopes to have his own house. Don’t you? They become dreamy and their eyes glisten with excitement as they delineate in minutest detail the photo of the house they have ingrained in their minds. Most work harder to make this a reality. Others however are blessed to belong to wealthy families where the children are gifted with a grand and beautiful house.
As my aunt, sister-in-law and I visited a mall one afternoon many weeks ago, we failed not to be lured in a showroom where units of a reputable condominium were for sale. They were decorated with taste that received a superfluity of rave from the prospect buyers and on-lookers like us. We loved each room presented – from the studio type, one-bedroom and two-bedroom unit. We were even cajoling each other as to who will be occupying a particular room.
I was exceedingly happy at the various themes every room had. From the mixture of colors and fixtures, the inclusion of state-of-the-art appliances and the unfolding of how a seemingly small space can look bigger with tricks unselfishly shared to us.
Feel free to click on the collage to appreciate the beauty of the interior better. Enjoy the tour as I take you to every room hopefully you’ll enjoy viewing like I did...

… and who knows, this could be the beginning of a desire you and I can constantly keep in our hearts until owning our very own house becomes a reality. It may not be as grand as these or a more simple one where the basic needs are met. What matters most is the realization of acquiring our very own dream house where love, laughter and fun is over flowing!
I love the colors. Home ownership is very desirable and worth working hard for.
ReplyDeleteI don't have anything super, but it's paid for!
ReplyDeleteThese are tastefully decorated, I can see the allure of wanting to own one. I think I would be happy living in any of the three units, but my preference would be the largest - two bedroom. I currently live in what is called a Cape Cod style home - no attic and very little storage. My dream is to own a home with loads of storage!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your dreams of acquiring your dream house come true very very soon! happy week to you.
'Home is where the heart is' they say - and it's true. I hope you can own a home that's special because love is there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove, laughter and fun...I am certain that you can have those no matter where you live! I hope you day that you will have your "dream" house. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen younger I have had a few homes and now an apartment. It is true that home is where your heart is....my heart would not mind being in that one bedroom unit. :) I am sure one day soon you will own your own home. :)
ReplyDeleteI do think we all want a home of our own. sandie
ReplyDeletei would really love to build my own house, in fact thats my job, to design houses, well maybe someday soon when the budget is enough, for now i'll day dream muna :P
ReplyDeleteVery well said I strongly agree that - "what matters most is the realization of acquiring our very own dream house where love, laughter and fun is over flowing!" Sure it'll be a perfect home! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the red! The bank and I own a home here on earth. Jesus is preparing one for me that I'll own free and clear!
ReplyDeleteHello~ Thank you for your commment on my blog, Adventures In Faithful Living. How nice of you to come by and visit :) I have enjoyed reading your blog and seeing where you are from..and photos of your country......especially seeing the words Angeles City! Back in 74-76 we lived in The Philippines where my husband forecast the weather for US Air Force Pilots at Clark AB. We have so many fond memories of the Philippines and the people we met and grew to love. Two of our 7 children were adopted from The P.I. when we lived there. God bless your day!
ReplyDeleteI can understand how home ownership would be a special dream of yours. I remember when my husband and I were first married and used to go through open houses and dreamed of having our very own. We finally built our dream house and here it is 45 years later, and we are still here. My husband says he will never be able to drag me out of it! It is special to me because many members of my family, most of whom are now in heaven, helped us build our house. I just pray that God will protect our health so we can continue to enjoy our "little house in the forest."
ReplyDeleteThe apartments you showed all look bright and cheerful...Such pretty colors.
I love the colors and the patterns. Each room has it's own characteristic.
ReplyDeleteJust recently I imagined my dream house. Thinking of it makes me happy :)
I can just imagine how excited you all were while doing your little tour. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is why I dread and get excited at the same time when I see a showroom. Specially those of very nice condo units and apartments. They make the interior designs so lovely that it makes you wanna jump in and make a deal to acquire that unit. And i'm such a sucker for lovely things but bad on decision makings. Argh!
I love the modern designs of condo units although anxious to dwell in one. Quite happy with our small home here in the far corner of Quezon City but still dreaming to have one with big lawn and garden.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Farida!
I love looking through homes and seeing the different decorating styles...I hope your dream comes true one day...mine as well!
ReplyDeletelove the fixtures and interiors of the green one
ReplyDeletehaving an own house is everyone's dream, i am fortunate to have one, i am concern with the others that don't have houses, especially those living in slum areas and looming to be demolish
I like the color scheme. Mellow avocado colors. Very relaxing and gives out a feeling of contentment.
ReplyDeleteyes...someday we will have our own house too. one step at a time.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite would be the middle set of photos...the soft, relaxing color of a muted lime green.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you for your lovely comments and sharing your ordeal. I thought we were following each other. I am at fault here. I will locate your "joining" thing and do it straight up. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. doh! (hug)
ReplyDeleteSimply elegant! It’s a kind of my dream home, being simple and neat within certain space of content.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking around and make thought of a dream house :) Nice landing here.
Am sure you will own your own home one day. The photos of your dream home is really beautifully decorated.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous interiors.
ReplyDeleteI want to be a homeowner as well. My sister used to ask me if I were made to choose between a car and a house, what would I pick? I immediately picked the latter. Although with my lifestyle these days I think a one-bedroom condo would be more suitable to my taste. ;) Let's cross our fingers and hope we achieve that goal real soon.
ReplyDeleteOur dream came true after 6 years of marriage we were able to build our dream house ! I change the interior several times after 35 years the fashion also changed !
ReplyDeletevery nice! I want my own house too..:)
ReplyDeleteThankyou for the tour - we are just having some alterations done to our utility and garage - I have been without the washing machine for 2 months - I have been taking my wash to my dads - washer is on for first time tonight sounds like bliss - Jane UK
ReplyDeleteDesigners can make even the smallest of homes look amazing :-) Hoping your get the home you want.
ReplyDeleteIt's very exciting having a dream and watching it come true!! I hope your dream comes true very soon for you!!!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are fabulous!
It never hurts to dream, but it would be better if it were reality, isn't it? :D
ReplyDeleteHi ida, I'm back to blogging! And what a coincidence. I wrote my post last Tuesday and dropped by your blog last Wednesday and found out we wrote about the same topic! As for those houses, I would love to own one. For the kids when they study in Manila so they won't have to live in dorms or apartments. But that's just a dream. Those condos are too expensive!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
Cheers to dream houses! Love gathering inspirations from open houses & showrooms. If you'll ever need an architect someday for one of your dream houses, you can drop me a line. :)
ReplyDeleteThe one bedroom unit is elegant. Hopefully next year I can start building my dream house.
ReplyDeleteit's also a dream of mine to have my own house, with picket fence, a garden and lawn for the kids to play around in. when I was younger, I never enjoyed going to places like these, but now, I enjoy a trip to Ikea! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love looking at showrooms because they make it look so possible to have a beautiful home in a very small space. Like the ones they have at Gateway mall. :)
ReplyDeleteJust go for your dream house sis! :)
ReplyDeleteMy gf and I want to get a 2-bedrooom unit. Maybe soon.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's better just to enjoy the sights! One should not overtax oneself to go for a dream house and live there like a pauper later! For me any house I stay in is my beautiful home! Does not matter if I cannot buy one.
ReplyDeletei like the color scheme of the one-bedroom unit :D
ReplyDeletenice place, having a home that we can call our own is a dream come true moreover if it is our dream house
ReplyDeleteI fancy the wallpaper of the third one and the color palette of the second. :)
ReplyDeleteone day i'll have my own! :)
ReplyDeleteNice. I love that headboard/mirror idea in that one-bedroom unit.
ReplyDeleteLife is what you make of it.
ReplyDeleteLots of people dream of having a house, but don't, so I am very lucky to have a home. I got the house beyond my wildest dreams. It's wonderful!!
These are really nice units. I wish I can have my own house soon too. I know it'll take a lot of patience and hard work, but I'm sure we'll get there.. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are nice units. We're currently living in a condo too, though I'd like have our house & lot soon. On the other hand, better to build a good home than a glamorous house. (but if we can have both, why not?) :)
ReplyDeleteCertainly those who are into the condominium business are earning big money. As much as possible, I avoid going into such model units. I become dreamy and it's not among our family's priority right now. Maybe some other time.
ReplyDeleteGreat units but I would still want the usual on ground house with lawns and garage.
ReplyDeletethat is also one of my life-long desires, to have a house of my own, nothing really grand but just big enough for me + my little man to move around...so let's claim it, we shall be proud owners of our own home very soon! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to have my own place but finances right now are not sufficient...but God-willing, someday, I'll have my dream house. :-)
ReplyDeletevery nice! I've always wanted to have my own place. Hopefully, I'll be able to in the future. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way they decorated the place! so elegant. Each available space has been utilized din
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful. I think showroom and open house have a great impact to the customers and they will be eager to own a house too. My dream house is farm house. Though we already have own house, I still want a house away from the metro with so man trees and plants, and animals.
ReplyDeleteMommy Maye2
Thank you for sharing those pictures! They were really cool to look at. I'm building my dream home now, but understand what you are saying here. Thank you.
