Located only five minutes away from Taipei's financial district, the luxurious 5-star hotel boasts with the East and West interiors, amiable and courteous staff and state-of-the-art facilities.
Executive Single Room
Spacious, comfortable and relaxing were the adjectives that describe the room where we rested our weary bodies from the long walks after the tour and the many more hours of walking during the evening in search for a local place to fill our growling tummies. The weather was extremely fine but it got very cold towards the night.
The bathroom had three parts: the dresser with all the toiletries you'll need to freshen yourself, a full bath tub and a shower on the left side, a toilet bowl and a separate shower area on the right part of the room.
I enjoyed using the automated functions of the toilet and experimented with the different pressures and temperatures of the water.
The Decor In Some Parts Of The Hotel
The Sherwood Taipei can truly make your stay memorable with the richness and the luxury it evokes because of its wide lobby and reception hall, including the magnificent pieces of arts and furniture all over the place.
We had our daily breakfast buffet at B-one Buffet Restaurant which served a fusion of gustatory delights. There were various breads and pastries like muffins, croissants, waffle. You can also create your own vegetable salad complete with a vast choice of ingredients, yogurt, yakult, different kind of cheeses, Japanese rice and egg.
Another part of the buffet offered small asado siopao, three kinds of bacon, sausages, mackerel, hash brown, grilled tomato and you can order eggs the way you like it cooked.
There was also an area that served congee, miso soup, vermicelli, various kinds of rice, birthday noodles and tofu. Beverages were unlimited. And breakfast wouldn't be complete without a cup of brewed coffee. Ahhh... my simple cup of pleasure.
