Today I Am Relieved...

... that my heart does not just listens intently to God's words but follows His mandates too. By being a regular attendee of our church's services on Wednesdays and Sundays, I am convicted to engage in everything that pleases Him. And this is the rightful thing to do. Consequently, learning the scriptures will shield us from errors thus, enabling everyone to have the ability for discernment.

I am relieved and joyful that we have finally settled in our house. Everything seems to be in order and in its proper place after almost four months. Admittedly, transferring to a new place is no joke and is not an easy-peasy task. Packing things and later unpacking them takes time. It is not only stressful but a lot of patience is necessary. Similarly, we can now breathe, relax and entertain in the place we call  our home.

Despite life's ups and downs, what are you relieved with?

  1. I'm relieved that my trip to the emergency room for chest pains really was just a very bad case of heartburn! It was such a relief to learn I was A-OK.

  2. The path is crooked with twist and turns. Why we have to hold on. Didn’t say it would be easy just worth it in the end

  3. I'm glad you're getting settled into your new home. It can be tough moving, that's for sure. I'm sorry some people haven't been friendly though!

  4. Obviously everything is different for everyone and everyone is entitled to their feelings. I can't say that I'm truthfully relieved about anything today. I've also never found any relief I felt to be a result of irony. Personally I find relief to be a short-lived happy or comforting feeling, not something ongoing.

  10. I am relieved that my daughter will finally go see a doctor to find out what's going on with the fast weight gain and nagging headaches. She keeps putting if off because she hates skipping work. I hope it is nothing serious though. I put all my trust in the Lord, the Great Healer.

  11. I've learned of many peoples true colors over the past few years. It's tough to find out sometimes people aren't who they make you believe they are.

  17. I feel like I had a really bad year and the last 6 months have been going in the up direction so I'm just in a happy place. The stress that's in my lie now is just everyday matters that will eventually go away
