My Mom and my Dad finally perfected preparing two bowls of this dish after several attempts at Mongolian Stir Fry inside Shopwise, Araneta Center! For only P140 (less than 4USD) you can create a unique Mongolian dish and fill up the ceramic bowl with as much uncooked ingredients you can muster to eat and even share it with a companion. It is cooked later at your very eyes plus you can instantly enjoy the flavors of this delectable and filling food.
We have been addicted to this for sometime now because it is not only affordable and delicious. The main ingredient vermicelli or sotanghon is seemingly nutritious too. It is made from beans (protein) and all the conscious out there can eat this with gusto minus the added calories!
Varied fresh vegetables of more than 20 choices can be included in your bowl. The secret when eating here is to stack as much food of your preference as you can and cautiously pile it up like a mountain. Similarly, there are four types of sauces you can select from: sweet, sweet and sour, hot and spicy and sweet and spicy. There is also chicken, squid and lean meat that can be added and is comparable to a complete meal.
The bowlful of the freshest ingredient is then cooked while you wait in queue and this can be enjoyed better when it's eaten hot; fresh from the counter. Oh, and with the senior discount card of either my Mom or my Dad, the cost is down to P112 and has made three adults exceedingly satiated.
have a lovely weekend xxx

ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since i had mongolian barbecue. i think the last time i've had it, i had two bowls. one was with noodles while the other with rice. i like them spicy. unfortunately, my wife is not into such dish and so is my daughter. so once again, i am outvoted, ha ha ha
