Love is wonderful especially if experienced by two individuals who are deeply, truly in love. It was one of the greatest thing that ever happened to me. It liberated me from my insecurities. It made me a better person. My boyfriend has unselfishly shared himself to me and I treasure those precious memory. Unfortunately he is no longer alive but he will forever be ingrained in my heart and mind.
Love is powerful for sure. I never knew the 'real' meaning of LOVE until I met George. Of course, I had love for my family and children ---but my first marriage was NOT full of love --like this one is!!!!
I love the finger doodles...so cute. Thoughts on love? I can't seem to decide where to start or how to begin explaining. It's such an overwhelming topic. I just know that love always leaves me in awe.
Love is the icing on the cake. That was my first thought kasi diba romantic love sweetens life. But I got to thinking that we can eat cake without icing. Does that mean we can live without love? Maybe romantic love, yes. But LOVE love, it is essential to life. Maybe one can go through life without loving, but surviving would be difficult without being loved, or knowing how it is to be loved.
I don't know why, but LOVE has started to feel like just a cliche nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being bitter here. It's just that LOVE at the present is different from LOVE at the past. Sure, love is lovely. But how is it still lovely when one loves you today and the other tomorrow? Sincerity seems to be missing nowadays. Im not speaking from experience here, I'm speaking from what I see around me.
I am always reminded about the word in the book of instructions to "love one another as i have loved you" mostly, it's hard to do, especially if the other is unlovable or there's just something you can't really love about them.
but then again, love is a many-splendored thing :)
Love is beyond physical, emotions and idealism. Love is a decision to take another being into your life and accept, understand and live with his/her imperfections. Love is service. It is waking up each day, thinking how you could make your partner happy. :) For me that is love.
Isn't it too early for Valentine's Day? But then again, love should be celebrated and shared the whole year round. So yeah, let's go out and spread the love! LOL
ahhhh, yes, Love, Love, Love!
ReplyDeleteall we really need is Love and everything shall follow...
