The Philippines comprises of 7,107 islands dispersed all over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. It boasts of world-class summer destinations that are altogether magnificent, beautiful and are surprisingly within our reach that just need to be discovered!
Sun, sand and a tan are the words I associate summer with. A trip to the beach with the entire household is often in the bucket list where the swimming skills of the little ones are showcased. This is also a good time to bond with the entire family, to loosen up those nerves, to enjoy a variety of barbecue dishes or to simply discover another splendid island in your country!
El Nido, Palawan
Palaui Island, Santa Ana, Cagayan
Siquijor
Mahabang Buhangin, Calaguas
Potipot Island, Zambales
Sumilon Island, Cebu
Aren't these photos breathtaking?
Where are you planning to spend your summer?

We seem to have the same topic lately, lol! I also would like to visit Bataan.

ReplyDeleteNo definite plan yet since my SIL has a 5-month old baby and it would be impractical to travel to a far place. We're thinking of spending the night in a hotel were my cousin works and is offering us an unbelievable discount!
DeleteI loooove the beach and I can't wait til I save enough for a family vacation! :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is a lovely post! :D I've been to 3 of those you've listed here: Potipot, Siquijor, and Sumilon. I agree, they are all lovely places! :D This summer, no plans yet, but might hit beaches in Batangas or La Union.

ReplyDeletei've been to beaches as far north as pagudpud and as far south as in samal island.
but with my current condition, i think i can only go to a beach which is a few hours away from manila.
for this summer, probably tagaytay and a staycation in one of the hotels in manila which my wife won in a raffle
Noel, I read about your health condition. You keep safe, ok and the weight loss I think will do you good :)
