JUICY LUCY (noun): a cheeseburger that has the cheese inside the meat patty rather than on top
After watching this weekend's episode of TLC's Man v. Food Nation, I can't help but to share to my household the easy-to-replicate hamburger oozing with quick melt cheese. I started craving for it the moment Adam Richman profoundly shared how a food joint in the US did it from scratch and how he described the goodness of this sandwich.
You'll need:
Hamburger patties
Quick melt cheese
Hamburger buns
Condiments (optional)
Procedure:
1. Slice the quick melt cheese. Put aside.
2. Get two thawed patties. Put the slices of cheese (I put four slices for this burger) on top of one patty. Cover it with the other patty and secure the edges by lightly pressing it. This will prevent the cheese from coming out when cooked.
3. Put the fire of the stove on low heat because you'll be frying two pieces of patties. When done, put the cooked meat in the hamburger bun.
4. Enjoy!
It was a heavenly treat and a good way to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon. How did you spend your Sunday?
