Do you want to feel better, look younger and live longer? I'm certain that your answer to these questions is a resounding "yes!" Yes? However, with the myriad stressors we obtain from work, family and our personal lives; we often get comforted from various things especially with food that temporarily lifts our mood. Agree?
I personally enjoy eating salted snacks (and dark chocolates) which I find sinful at times. The feeling of eating a small pack is heightened when I am about to have my menses. And no matter how hard I try to suppress the feeling of eating it, I often fail. And it is during this time of the month when my taste buds work at its best. On ordinary days though, the food I eat does not taste as flavorful or as delicious. Thus, buying in smaller packaging is safer.
But as we age, the stubborn fats around our bellies seem to accumulate faster. Our metabolism declines. We get tired easily and feel sluggish. And with exercising, all of these are reversed. On a lighter note, I was astounded to fortuitously find the poster on exercising while I was surfing the net. Imagine how life would be if everybody exercised regularly... So, whether you're busy as a bee or laxing with whatever that makes you happy; hope you make it a habit to exercise.
From the list above, what health changes would you like to experience in your life?

ReplyDeleteI do little back stretching everyday to relieve back aches. This post motivated me to exercise more! :)
ReplyDeleteEverything is valid! What spoke to me, though, was the one about reducing fatigue. It's not easy to be a working mother and we certainly need all the energy we can get!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness, reading all of this makes me sad, hahaha! I don't exercise. I'm really too lazy with that. I move a lot and do a lot of things so by the end of the day, I consider that my daily exercise hahaha!

ReplyDeleteNaku, first 10 reasons pa nga lang convincing na eh. Hindi ko lang talaga mapagalaw 'tong katawan ko. I am so stubborn and lazy!
ReplyDeleteAs I don't have much time to exercise now, what I adopt as my healthy habit is to be mindful of the foods that I eat. I make sure that I am having a balanced diet. More to fruits and juices and raw veggies like tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, onions, bell peppers and lettuce. I have a fast metabolism though so I am lucky at that. :)
